February 1- New Companion

Dear Friends and Family,
This past week was a little hectic at first, we had transfers and elder Carbonell got shipped off to Invercargil, We dropped him off in Duniden to be driven down to Inv. I was kind of sad to say goodbye but it was really good. We got to say goodbye to some of our investigators and less actives and some members. Sooo since he went, that can only mean that I shall remain here in Oamaru. haha. I love Oamaru, I just dont feel ready to lead the area. My new companion's name is Elder Ofamo'oni, he is tongan, but he is from Auckland. He is pretty cool, He loves Rugby.  He is pretty good at teaching and he is really helpful.  He has been out for six months and I have been out for three, You could say that we are a pretty new companionship. So this week the missionary work moved forward and we have a new branch mission leader. He is very passionate about getting the members to do their part, which is really good, we will finally make some headway into that. So this week On thursday was my birthday and wednesday was my new companions birthday, So we had a member bake a birthday cake for us which was really nice, they are really cool. They are both from utah but they moved here to be closer to there family. I apologize for the shortish letter we just havent had a very eventful week. I love you all. Your letters and packages are so encouraging and help keep me moving, I would just like to thank my family back home for there love and support and I would like to thank my ward family for their love and for the letters. I would invite you If you dont already to help the missionaries back home, I know that you guys have two wonderful missionaries serving in bountiful and they need the members help. I love you all.
Yours Faithfully,
Elder Tanner Bowers
